About me

Hi! I'm Keegan. Owner and Baker of The Moreish Bakehouse. I'm a small town girl born and bred in Southland, New Zealand.

I have an insane passion for making and creating delicious food, more so sweet options! The Moreish Bakehouse was established in 2021 from the comfort of my own home. I now work from my registered home kitchen whilst also being able to look after my two beautiful children - Best of both worlds!

Growing up, I strongly remember how happy a simple Chocolate Chip Cookie made me feel. As a primary school kid I use to trade something out of my lunch box with a friend of mine, who's mother use to bake her the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. Fair to say, this girls love language is through food! Haha, so with that in mind, my love for food continued on throughout my teen years. I became a qualified Chef in 2015 going on to work in a few fast paced kitchens and bakeries over the years. Developed many skills as well as being self taught in cake making and decorating. My love for baking sweet treats for people led me to where I am today and has inspired me to fulfil my dream and love for all things cookie. I love how food lets me explore flavour and creativity.
